The tree structure of your site allows you to access all your pages. Many features and information are present in this part of your site.
You can access this through clicking on your project menu and selecting "Pages"
The structure
Your home page is the trunk, it presents all the thematic pages of your site.
The theme pages are the branches of your tree and have other small branches. We can call these thematic pages "parent" pages.
The small branches correspond to the daughter pages of your thematic pages (the "parents"). Each parent page may or may not have daughter pages, just as the branch of a tree may or may not have smaller branches.
The leaves of your tree represent the content of your pages or the subpages of your child pages.
What are the functions of the page tree?
- The dotted bar to use the Drag & Drop function of the CMS (move the pages).
- The hide arrow present only in the case of a "parent" page that has "child" pages, it allows you to show or hide the list in order to display or hide the child pages.
- The title of the page
- The root indicator tells you which page is the home page and the application pages. The icon corresponds to the home page, and the icon represents the pages on which CMS modules have been installed (for example the Blog module on your Blog page)
- The eye icon allows you to go to the page for a preview,
- The publication status and language indicator if your page exists in several languages, there will be as many columns as there are languages. The different colors of the indicators tell you the following information:
- Blue: changes on the page have not been published. If you go to this page, the button at the top right will suggest you to publish the changes so that they are visible to the user.
- Green: the translation exists and the page is published,
- Grey: the translation of this page exists but is not published or unpublished. If you only have pages in French for example, it means that your page is not visible to your visitors and that you have to publish it (copy the editable "draft" content in a new "public" page),
- Blank: the translation of the page into this language does not exist. If you press this indicator, it opens the basic settings of the page. In other cases, clicking on this indicator will reveal the preview, publish and unpublish options,
- Menu indicates whether the page appears in the navigation menu of your site or not,
- In grey / unchecked: the page does not appear,
- In green / check: the page is visible in the navigation menu,
- The pen button: opens the basic settings of the page
- The + button: adds/creates a new sub-page (child/daughter page),
- The parallel bars / hamburger menu give access to the options:
- copy
- cut
- glue
- delete
- set as home page
- access the advanced settings of the page
- Miscellaneous information: the date of publication of the page, the access (restricted or not), the author of the last modifications and the model of the page.
Legend
At the bottom right of the screen, there is a 'legend' key, which enables you to understand what each icon means.
